This newly approved copper IUD offers individuals a hormone-free method of long-term contraception and represents a significant advancement in reproductive health. Designed to provide reliable pregnancy prevention for up to three years, the IUD features a flexible frame and utilizes a smaller amount of copper compared to previously available copper IUDs.
